Who Pays For Early Intervention?

All EI services are provided at no out of pocket cost to the parents. Health insurance may be used by the County for approved EI Services. EI is funded and monitored by NY State Department of Health (DOH) as well as County governments. When EI services are delivered in child care settings or community locations that require a fee, the parent is responsible for paying any associated costs with such access to child care or community locations.
